Consider the following statement, "we are to choose to obey God and leave the consequences to Him." So often we will obey God if we can anticipate the consequences and feel secure that we can control them. But is that faith?
Today choose faith by obeying God and leaving the consequences to Him, for without faith it is impossible to please God.

This is a great word of encouragement! God has so much already planned and in store for us if we muster enough faith to trust Him when we can't control the outcome. Why is it that we are only comfortable stepping out on faith when we have a good idea the outcome of our actions and are okay with the results?
I'm enjoying reading and keeping up with events at PC... I'm jealous, but yet asking Father to have His hand on the entire plans. Keep doing what you know is right, and then watch Him work!

What you said here is exactly what I was trying to tell one of my neighbors. She said she couldn't go to church b/c she liked to have a drink during the week. I told her that was hogwash. I then proceeded to tell her about PC. She and her family are now coming with us for the next preview service....yea!!!!!
